Jingle Secrets
First of all, the music should reflect the business and its customers. And it needs to reflect the nature of the campaign.
Second, you need to be sneaky; there are many technical song-writing secrets that leave people wondering why your jingle is the one stuck in their head. Really, it's just scientific research applied.
Finally, you have to respect the listener. Don't just force a jingle down their throat. Your target audience (hopefully) isn't stupid. They have to connect with the jingle and look forward to hearing it again! So give them something that's fresh and pretty. And avoid MIDI sequencers - real musicians sound a lot better and don't cost a lot more.
